In the year 2021, we are unable to
visit the world’s sacred places.
But we still can travel to them, experience their magic, hear their story, and learn from them.
Jeanne Fiorini and Margaret Jones present a series of virtual travel events, each one focusing on a particular pilgrimage site. The itinerary will send us to Petra in Jordan, Newgrange in Ireland, Saint Brigid's Well in Kildare (Ireland), the midlands of Scotland, and Stonehenge in Salisbury England.
These journeys will be presented as live guided tours, and will also be offered as recordings available for purchase after the presentation.
Each journey blends the mythology, history, and legends contained in the landscape with a series of images and guided prompts, all designed to transport travelers into another time and space.
As we wend our way across these mythical landscapes, we will create a personal travel log of our experience. We will use Tarot cards, personal reflection, short rituals, and journaling to deepen our understanding of these magical places and of ourselves.
No travel experience or knowledge of the Tarot is required.
Come along as we explore the inner and outer landscape!

The fourth leg of this five-part series will be a pilgrimage to the magical isle of Scotland.
This is a land of incomparable beauty and contrast - from the majesty of her mountain peaks to the gentle curves of her island shores. We will travel as pilgrims along the sacred paths as did our ancestors, revering the many and varied faces of spirit.
We will hear the tale of the warrior Picts, the “painted ones” who left their mark in stone. We then travel on to Edinburgh where powerful witches practiced their craft of healing, and we will pay homage to those healers who died at Edinburgh Castle. The journey continues to Rosslyn Chapel where it is said the Knights Templar buried the Holy Grail; and then trek through the mountains ruled by the great Goddess Cailleach. We’ll sail on to the Inner Hebrides Islands, and hear the stories of the magical seahorses called Kelpies and the mystical seals called Selkies. We conclude this pilgrimage on the Isle of Lewis where we will conduct a ritual near the second largest stone circle in Europe, the Callinish standing stones.
Join us for a pilgrimage to the UNESCO World Heritage destination of Petra, Jordan.
Margaret's recent travels to this ancient site inform and inspire this journey back in time. As we travel to this mysterious and magnificent location, we will be awed by the size and scope of a civilization which existed in the time of Moses and continues to cast its spell on pilgrims to this very day.
We will walk to the façade of the Treasury by means of the Siq, an ancient road carved through the mountains by nature and made navigable by the Nabateans and the Romans. We will learn about the Nabateans and the remarkable engineering skills that created a thriving culture at the crossroads of the silk trade. While the interior of The Treasury, the city's most iconic structure, is closed to the public, we will walk the sacred pathway of the Siq and experience a city where the dead are as much a part of the citizenry as the living.
Pauses built into the narrative and slide presentation offer moments to work with the Tarot, to focus on personal reflection, and be aware of how the inner landscape can inform and inspire as much as the outer landscape.
